Review on 🀱 Johnson's Disposable Nursing Pads: Natural Cotton, Contoured Shape - 60 Ct by Jasmine Ashford

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for thrush issues, practically invisible, super absorbent, breathable and soft

I had a bad case of thrush and had to switch to disposable pads to avoid constantly reintroducing yeast into my nipples (ugh). I've tried them all! Lanisohs absorb well but are itchy and they don't bunch up well if you keep snapping and opening your feeder tank. The medelas were ok but had an odd shape that really stood out when wearing a cotton bra or tank top with no extra padding. The bamboos were very soft but with a plastic lining that prevented my nipples from venting and breathing which is necessary with thrush. They are almost perfect: perfectly absorbent, non-clumping, breathable, soft and almost invisible. I practically speak BC, although making a nipple indentation in the pad to make room for your nipple rather than squeezing it was a smart idea (also great if your nipples hurt and you don't want them rubbing against anything ). When you wear a tank top or cotton bra, the dimples of the nipples make you look like your nipples are constantly attracting attention! And it also makes you look like you have huge nipples. The simple solution I found was to slide the nipple indentation back and forth to loosen and smooth out the cotton a bit. Now that I'm wearing a tank top, it's not noticeable at all. PS: I'm fully aware that I've said "nipples" a ridiculous number of times in this review.
