The functional part of this plate is fine if you manage to install it. In doing so, I encountered two problems. First, the plate is not solid. Like a light switch, it consists of an insert and a cover. Unlike other reviewers, I had no trouble snapping the insert into the lid. But after I put the insert back in place, I found that the screw holes on the insert were much smaller than those in the cover, and the screws didn't go through them. Bad product design. Luckily, it's easy to just drill holes. But then I ran into a second problem: the holes don't line up with the box in my wall. I have no idea how I would know this would happen because of this product page. To "fix" this, I put a screw in the hole provided by the box and drilled a hole through the drywall for the second screw. It's hanging on my wall and seems safe so far. I keep my fingers crossed that he holds out. So you're done. This panel is cheap and works, but you'll need a drill and some creativity to install it.
