With this adapter I was able to replace a 25W E27 lightbulb in my oven housing with a 2.5W E17 LED lightbulb. My wife uses the stove housing as a night light. While 25 watts isn't a lot, it uses power and costs money, which adds up when used at night. 2.5W is 10 times less power and results in some savings.
