Bought for my husband who works as a locksmith. Yes, he dropped his phone 70 feet onto concrete earlier this week and there is not a single scratch on his phone and the case is still intact. A few months ago we set sail and sank a raft (we're talented). Ten minutes later, before we disembarked, I found his phone at the bottom of a water-filled raft and it's still in perfect condition. He welded and caught fire with a shirt (again talented) and melted a small spot on the case but without damaging the phone. So if you're even considering a case, buy one. Best $12 ever spent. Literally drop-proof, waterproof and flame retardant.
