OK need a new coffee maker and when buying a new SS Cuisinart coffee maker it said on the outside of the box that it came with a charcoal water filter. So I bought a box of two water filters at the same time for $8.99 (part number DCC-RWF). A few months later I checked the one I had installed with the coffee maker and sure enough it was dirty. So it helps. Called Revain, put in part number, found and ordered these filters from Housewares Solutions. A 12 pack arrived and I removed a new unused Cuisinart filter and one from the 12 pack. exact match. Went as far as weighing her. the same weight. As far as I can tell it's "as good if not better" than the OEM filter. I recommend this replacement.
