HEPD80 is great for protecting the main switchboard. Overvoltage protection also helps to avoid overvoltages from the emergency generator. Most new ovens, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves and kettles. Now there are electronic boards that are not protected from surges. Problems can range from a circuit breaker tripping to losing incoming power to your main electrical panel getting hit and your surge protector has done its job and needs to be replaced. This is a fairly compact unit. Revolution. and best of all: MADE IN THE USA (yes, that's still important to me). I highly recommend this product!
