I give these 5 stars even though they don't keep the smell inside 100%. Why? They are affordable and ideal for use with glass containers. The packs are a good size and can be reused - although you'll obviously want to check for any holes or tears. While I think they retain most of the smell, the longer you keep something in it, the more you open the packaging, the more you play with it, the more likely the smell will leak out a bit. There is a bloodhound in my house and I have to hide his snacks or he will find them and eat them all at once, leaving no snacks for others. (Snoops can't control themselves) So I put snacks in these bags. Then I put these packets in jars. Then I pour some activated charcoal into these jars. Voila! I interrupted the bloodhound. He hadn't found any snacks before it was time to eat them. If you also have a bloodhound sniffing at their snacks, try this.
