At first I couldn't believe they would work - I could barely squeeze them with my hand - but other reviewers said they would work so I got it risked - and they really do. Yes, zip them a couple of times to make sure they aren't broken (and you'll need a lot of effort), then boot the install. I found You Tube by "Airstream Geek" which seemed clear to me so that helped. I had a few workarounds that I had to do due to the design of my cabinets and tried to show it in the photos. The bottom attachment point was too narrow so I had to add a small block, no big deal. The smaller cabinet had a different layout so it wouldn't close after I put the top of the cabinet on - trying to remove it the screw came loose (they come loose easily - one thing was a problem). So I turned the mount around a corner and lo and behold, the stand still works perfectly. I'm happy that I no longer have to hold my head up in cupboards or juggle things. A little tip - there is a silver piece on each end that helps hold the rack on the balls - they need to be slid up (pry off with a screwdriver) - this is easy to do - I finished the first one and it took me a while longer to put these damn things together than to rack mount them. For the last three, I just pushed it all the way to the ends of the bar - apparently the right way to go - and then it was easy to slide back down.
