This was one of the most popular dog foods on the Clean Label Project website. This organization tests dog food (and other products) for heavy metals and other pollutants. Little did I know that the expensive dog food I've been buying for years could be high in heavy metals like arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury; and possibly other contaminants such as BPA. My dogs seem to enjoy this food although they have never been too fussy. Has 4 stars on DogfoodAdvisor; But I think the clean label results more than make up for the missing star. Please do your own research and find a food that strikes a balance between quality, purity and ingredient value.
