In short I have owned several Alpinestars jackets and gear since I have bought several jackets from other manufacturers and wanted a more protective, better and nicer jacket. Alpinestars with a solid, race-bred reputation for high performance and high quality (which will last forever if you don't destroy them lol). everything and more. The optional Tech-Air airbag system (sold separately) sets it apart from other models. It's not about the cost, it's about what you get, making them more affordable than the more expensive jackets from the Alpinestars line. The Missile Ignition Jacket is an incredibly beautiful, great fitting (very comfortable) leather jacket. I'm not trying to sell you, I'm just telling you what I have and I liked it straight away. You can study the features all day, but you can't see a jacket and feel the comfort of protecting it. This jacket can easily cost more and trust me if you are looking for the best jacket available the Missile Ignition Tech-Air Jacket tops the list. If you can't decide which jacket to buy and you're on the fence or the cost seems high don't stumble, this is the best quality that will last forever, looks and feels so good (go for it "beautiful") will make you really happy you got it. I have an all black one and it's a nice jacket. After all, we are judged on what we wear by those who know. I will post an update. I'm 6ft 180lbs wearing a size 42 jacket which fits quite tight with no body/back protection. Or a size 44 jacket with Alpinestars body/back protection. BUT I bought a size 46 jacket so the Tech-Air airbag system fits much more comfortably without wearing body armor/back protection (the Tech-Air airbag system has a built-in back protection).
