I got this cable to connect my Raspberry Pi Octoprint server to my 3D printer. I installed the RPI right next to the micro USB port on the printer and this cable is the perfect length. The cable makes a very good impression. It will be plugged in all the time, so I'm not too worried about durability issues. Just a note: when connecting your Raspberry Pi to your 3D printer, you must put a piece of electrical tape over the 5V pin on the USB-A side of the cable, otherwise the RPI will power the 3D printer. which can cause all sorts of bad things.
