Review on 🚽 Keeney Manufacturing PP836-70PCPOL Decorative Faucet Style Universal Fit Toilet Handle Tank Flush Lever, Front, Side, or Angle Mount, Porcelain and Chrome by Ryan Fitch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The well designed product has performed flawlessly for the past year. I bought a second one.

My wife loves the look of the porcelain chrome handle, its strong grip and the fact that it never sticks (wash it off and forget it). We had a flush lever for a toilet tank that did not adhere well due to corrosion of the metal parts running in from the outside of the tank. I first bought this pen as a replacement from a big store because it matched the original well. After a year of installing and using this handle when the cheap lever on the second toilet broke I bought the product again through Revain. This lever has the following key features that make it so much better than all other options. It uses durable plastic instead of metal to prevent sticking due to corrosion on parts that run in from the outside of the tank. Second, this lever contains a spring that ensures that it returns to its original position quickly and consistently after flushing. The tanks I installed it on had handles at a 45 degree angle. Installation was very quick as the only adjustment required was bending the brass lever to match the clasp. Installation Highlights. The nut that secures the handle to the toilet bowl is reverse-threaded. So if you follow the usual left-handed rule, you can't remove the old pin. Make sure the height of the tub riser is about 1 inch below where the handle goes through the tub so the water overflows into the bowl and doesn't spill out of the handle if (not when) the fill valve isn't closes.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky
