Absolutely useless crimping tool, especially for small wires. Better with pliers. Serious. If your wire completely fills the plug you might be able to make a connection, but that's only because any deformation will result in contact between the wire and the plug, not because the crimp on this tool is well designed. And it won't be strong. The ratcheting action, quality and construction of this tool is fine. There is no crimp bit. General. Purchase at your own risk. Oh, it doesn't damage the connectors in the shrink wrap so I'm guessing it's something, but it also doesn't crimp them properly.
