I was very pleased to find that this jug was packaged very well in a sturdy box that I can re-use for storage between uses. I was also happy to find clear, concise written instructions in it! This may seem trivial to some but anyway I'm so tired of exploring and have no idea how to go about it and then search the internet for my purchase only to find that the seller hasn't published an instruction manual and etc. etc. Very frustrating. So kudos to this seller for the written instructions! While the glass pitcher and tea strainer don't seem overpowering, I do agree with the seller's claim that this cold brew machine pays for itself very quickly if you use it instead of going to Starbucks. I was surprised to find that the glass was described as "very thick" (it isn't), and I was genuinely concerned that I might damage the screen by squeezing it too hard while holding it. I believe that with proper care this pitcher and teapot will last a long time. I intend to hand wash (this is dishwasher safe) and be very gentle with it. I will update this review if it doesn't last. I like that all components are easy and uncomplicated to connect to each other. It was very easy to put the infusion in the pot and prepare a cold drink. After the brewing process is complete, the teapot is rinsed for a few minutes. I easily swapped out the silicone ring (one for use with the brewer and one for use with the lid only). I was a little concerned that the spout was still open (see last photo) so I covered the spout with plastic wrap to prevent other smells from the fridge getting into my coffee. If I could, I would. I would give this cold brewer 4.5 stars for the light quality of the glass and brewer, and that the jug doesn't close all the way, but I'm leaving it at 5 for now. I'll be back to check again if necessary . to update. . So far recommended to all cold brew fans who don't like the cold brew price tag!
