As a licensed cosmetologist, I'm pretty picky (pun intended) when it comes to tools. I have been very happy with this set so far. Highlights: DURABILITY - These tweezers are structurally well-made, they don't "flex" when squeezed, which is a sign that they're durable as well. CALIBRATION - The blades on each tweezer are very well aligned. With careful visual inspection, each tooth touches its partner perfectly evenly, both in width and angle of the blade. nice gesture. Not sure if it's real leather, but it feels solid and the stitching is neat and even. This is a great way to store and protect your set between uses. DISINFECTABLE. The condition I work in requires all instruments to be disinfected between clients, which involves hand washing and then soaking in a very strong chemical. I've used these tweezers at least 11 times on this schedule and haven't noticed any ill effects. No rust, no dulling of the blades and no difference in the overall "smooth" feel when cutting the tweezer handles. OPINION: Nothing is more annoying than tweezers that fail to grab and remove hair on the first try, but I haven't tried it. I actually had a problem with this set. Another problem that is common with precision tweezers is that the blades can be too "sharp," resulting in hair being cut rather than removed. Others are not sharp enough, causing hair breakage without being removed. I rated this set so highly because none of the tweezers have any of the above issues. I found them easy to use, very effective and long lasting. I have yet to find a fault with the product in the design or the use of pointed, angled or flat tweezers and the bonus case is a great addition.
