This is the WORST dryer sheet ever. Cheap nameless waffle towels work better

I bought this towel in March when I picked up a classic Porsche. It was expensive (over $20), which I didn't mind since Griot has a good reputation. I've wanted to write a review of this towel every time I wash one of my Porsches and forget about it until I use it again - that was yesterday. Before ordering this towel I went to my local Walmart to pick up some items and they had a waffle dryer towel for about $5 and I grabbed one on a whim. The car was delivered and the next day I went for a full wash, clay treatment, paint restoration and a good wax. Washed the car and started "drying" with griots. it didn't work very well - it was just useless after the hood. I grabbed a cheap towel from Walmart and it did the rest of the car. I do not recommend buying a cheap nameless towel from Walmart. I'm just giving this as an example to show that a poor quality towel is better than Griot's. I have since purchased several Meguiar microfiber waffle towels and they work phenomenally. Since yesterday I've given up drying my rims with the Griot as it's basically junk. It's like water being squeezed off a towel! By the way, I wash all my towels after I use them and they all work great after a "real" wash. Will this Griot product affect how I feel about their other products? I think so. I haven't bought anything else from them, but I've bought many other excellent products from other top companies, so I see no reason to take the risk of finding another sub-par product.
