Works much better than a fan humidifier. Helps make dry air bearable!

This is the second one we're buying and not to replace the older one but to put in another room. When you turn it on, there is visible fog coming from above. Even on the lowest settings you can see it. It really makes the air bearable in the winter when the air here in North Texas often gets very dry. When you use Vick's vapor pads, it disperses (in a good way) throughout the room, making the air even easier to breathe. in.
