Advantages: looks good; The USB-C cable is very thick and durable; and it will charge your phone wirelessly. Unfortunately, the whole idea here is that it should fit in a car, clip securely to an air vent, and hold your phone securely with a supposedly powerful magnet. This was not my experience. The clip seems fine, but it doesn't hold the vent hole well - probably add a half inch for a tighter grip. But worst of all, the magnet was too weak: my phone barely noticed anything tugging on it, much less stuck, making the product unusable for me. Well, in defense of this product, the guide recommends a specific brand of phone case, but I make no apologies: I use a very common, popular case (named after an otter) and was hoping to substitute an old magnetic thing that's great worked until I lost the vent part. There is no such happiness.
