this dress is fantastic. I bought it last minute for a war memorial next week. I wasn't sure what size I need so I took both L and XL. I'm 5'5", about 210 pounds and have a "mommy belly". I wear 16" pants for the waist, but I have slimmer hips and almost no buttocks. More on top with a 38F cup Both Large and XL fit perfectly. The large is a bit tighter on the stomach but not so much that it is unflattering. The large size only comes down to my ankles which would be great with flip flops. XL is roomier and more fluid. It's also longer and glides over the top of my legs. The chest area is large enough in both cases that the seam doesn't cut me directly under or across the chest. The material is very comfortable and flows well. I wore it today 90 degree wet weather all day and sure it was hot but it was no more than shorts and a t shirt Overall I LOVE this dress and will be ordering more in different colors and prints.
