Once the smell is gone, they're great!

This underwear is brightly colored and of very good quality in terms of thickness and seams. They are true to size as expected, but be aware that they sit very high on the torso, partly due to the wider waist than usual. My son is small which caused them to bunch up a little when sat on his natural waist but he seems to think they are ok so I left it as is. The only reason I deducted a star was the awful smell they came with. With. I'm usually the kind of mom who, because of the tantrum that a lot of people throw at the faint smell of new clothes, rolled my eyes, but this time it was really BAD. They were obviously saturated with some kind of chemical substance. It literally took 3 washes for the smell to dissipate enough to make me feel comfortable giving them to him (although on the other hand they have become very soft! The color has faded a bit but not enough to really show the look to change). . If you wash them a couple of times before giving them to the child, then everything will be fine. But I've never had the feeling that new clothes smell so unpleasant. giving them to him (although on the other hand they have become very soft!
