Perfectly finished and beautifully packaged. If there's an $80 table board on earth, this is it. Here's why: 1. The tempered glass writing surface never wears out. Is always. I've been using steel tops with painted glass or porcelain backing since the naval days and can tell you they're an order of magnitude better than the more common melamine tops which only last a few years before they can't be cleaned anymore. .2. The sheet metal construction is perfectly formed, deburred and painted. This is a top notch build throughout. The welds are so good I asked my engineers to look at them because to be honest I've never seen anything like it. They are perfectly formed 1mm thick fillet welds and absolutely amazing. I also really like the marker tray. I have 6 full size expo markers and they all fit the bottom of the slide leaving room for the eraser.3. There are no small rubber feet underneath and the build is almost perfectly flat. Now I have it on a granite surface and not only does it not wobble, but I don't see much light underneath it. If it weren't driving me crazy, I would suspect aliens might have been involved in the production process. Heavy Swiss foreigners who speak mathematics with a German accent.4. It's packaged like a nuclear device. I've never seen a box like this before. Thicker than 1/4 inch! Out of curiosity, I taped the box shut and it held my 200+ lbs with ease. The blocks that secure the board in the box are made from cut, folded and glued pieces of the same material. Even if there's a war going on somewhere between the factory and your front door, this board is sure to arrive unscathed. intends to keep this on my desk for the rest of my life.
