Update **** same day. I feel so stupid because my original review was so awful and also so misinformed. I tried screwing them into the bottom plate instead of the top. If you're like me, you might expect two tables to be packed together. Well, it's not like the two tops are together, but the two bottoms are together. Once you have the right board it really takes 5 minutes to assemble and I did it with a hammer. Don't be like me! Check out all items before you give up. Good size and for the price, couldn't be better! __________ I have assembled all types of furniture and am convinced they sent me the wrong dowels. I got on board and just can't imagine how he'll ever give in and get on board. As everyone said you need a rubber mallet for the liner, but you don't need a tool for the liner, I used a hammer. I think I'll buy a rubber mallet and hope it works better. If I ever collect it I will update my review.
