I didn't have a good place to put my cat food plates. I bought this with the idea of making better use of the cat's natural instincts to get her food up the hill. I installed it over my pantry door so it doesn't bother me in the kitchen (and I can open the door without bumping into the dishes) and allow my cat to look down on me as she eats or drinks. The first picture shows a shelf mounted above the pantry door. The two mounting bolts that come with the kit are a few inches long and do a great job with the bolt. This shelf doesn't move at all and easily supports the weight of my 25kg cat. The second picture shows my cat getting to her food plates. There is a trash can in the lower left corner. She also likes to relax on the bridge and look down on me when I'm in the rooms. Watch me from above or just take a nap high up.
