I didn't "GET THE FULL 8 STANDS". Got 4 which are nice but only got 4 and based on the product name I assumed I would get 8. I can't talk about their absorbent properties as I just received them. Edit: I got contact from the seller that the free coasters will be shipped separately. They were and came in 2 days. The items themselves are beautiful and I'm really amazed at how they work! I didn't water them but I have had very wet days and cold drinks which I expected would leave at least a small wet ring where my cup was and there was nothing!
