This does what it says on the tin ie it doubles the length of your lens. But the price is 2 feet and the lack of autofocus. For most fans, that's not very good. If you're semi-pro or better and know what it is and how to use it, this is a good deal. If you're a casual DSLR user, stay away from this device and just buy a longer VR (Vibration Reduction) lens to get a clearer shot. There are teleconverters that support autofocus, but they're much more expensive and only work with Nikon's "professional" lenses. Honestly, for almost every need, you can do better by buying a longer telephoto lens. Even a cheaper non-VR lens is more affordable for most people than trying to use this device. I give it 5 stars because it is what is advertised but for most people this teleconverter will not help.
