There were no problems with this mouse. The assembly is made of plastic and appears flimsy at first glance. However, I charged it up, plugged in the USB communicator, turned it on and off we went. Works well. Now and then it gets "buggy" with a pass here and there. He also falls asleep a little earlier than I would like. But all you have to do is press a button or scroll wheel and it will wake up. When the laptop is off, the mouse is disabled. So you don't have to worry about physically turning it on and off. I had it maybe 2 months? I only charged it once when I first got it. It is very good. The mouse accommodates a USB communicator. But I keep it connected to my laptop so I didn't have to hide it there. But it's a nice touch if for some reason I need to take it out so I have something to do with it and don't lose it. I am very satisfied for the price. I use it for work and only for the internet. I don't play games so I can't tell you how it would work for that. If you're hardcore on a mouse, I'm not sure how well it will hold up to abuse. But for everyday "normal" use it should work just fine.
