I use it to dim the light from 2 patio doors. Assembly was easy. Connecting it to the remote requires you to stick a paperclip in a very small hole on the motor that's barely visible. You will receive feedback if the motor shakes once. You may need to try different channels on the remote to connect. When setting the upper and lower limits, you need to insert a paperclip into the remote control and then press the appropriate button depending on whether you are setting the upper or lower limits. I didn't try to install the center as I wanted it to be either fully closed or fully open. I ordered a reverse roller as I wanted it to clear the wood frame around the doors. It arrived pretty quickly as it was shipped from China. I received it about 2 weeks after completing the order. I had to change the color I originally ordered as that color was out of stock and it would take 4-6 weeks for stock to be replenished. . I just emailed them the other color and everything went smoothly. The screen was relatively large to cover the doors at approximately 84 inches high and 75 inches wide. I control it with Alexa and it works great.
