Review on 🔒 Effortless Preservation: Rolls 11 Inch Vacuum Sealer - 50 Foot Longevity by Sirious Cavalli

Doesn't seal with my 2 year old (well used) Food Saver. Buy a heavier bag

Having run out of my previous large spare rolls (not sure which brand) I have just ordered 2 new brands. I ordered these 11" FoodVacBag and 11" Nutri-Lock bags (I do a lot of sous vide and seal a lot). FoodVacBags are significantly thinner than FoodVacBags. These FoodVacBags would not even seal with my FoodSaver Sealant. My seal is almost 2 years old and I will need to replace the o-rings soon (don't forget to change the o-rings before changing the seal) but the Nutri-Lock bags seal well and the FoodVacBags do not from at all. You're just too skinny. Another review mentioned that they also pierce easily. Since I seal and freeze a lot of porterhouse steaks, being able to seal these bags would be a problem as the T-Bone would likely pierce the bag anyway. -FoodSaver is used. Nutri-Lock packs also work harder. As I was writing this I was looking through my Revain order history to find the third brand I am using. They were ordered from Vacuum Sealers Unlimited. They are slightly more expensive but also heavier than Nutri-Lock packs. I think I like them even better. The lack of a leaky bag and spoiled wet steak makes up for the small difference in cost. Conclusion: shit: FoodVacBags are too thin to seal and protect. Better: Nutri-Lock bags are a bit heavier. . Best protection with minimal punctures/leaks. Everything is available here on Revain
