For years I've struggled with some combination of dropping tools and trying to stack magnetic trays in the engine bay while working on cars. Finally I found this tray and it's perfect. Plenty of room to hold hardware, tools, parts, etc. while working. I even use it as a makeshift mobile table for certain jobs.To go the extra mile, I added a magnetic power strip and paper towel roll holder to it, so I have a central place to plug in tools as well as a roll of shop towels on hand while working.
