Review on πŸ’Ώ Xiaomi Redmi 9A - Dual Sim Smartphone with 2GB RAM and 32GB Storage in Granite Grey by Kristiyana Setiyawat ᠌

A useless product, it's not worth the money.

It never functions normally out of the box; you have to clean up after yourself, configure, download firmware updates, and install security. Even the functionality of Google itself may not always function as it should. This is my third Xiaomi, and every time I buy one, I swear to buy more products from this brand because of the price to hardware ratio. My third Xiaomi is this one. For instance, a restriction that precludes the automated recording of phone calls is present in the most recent global version of the Mui firmware but is not readily apparent. There are numerous apps that are functional but are running in the background, making it appear as though they do not exist and that you are unable to shut them down. A lot of other programs are also concerned, such as the player integrated into Total Commander or calling on WhatsApp, which is typically used for gaming. I discovered by accident that the call will continue until my interlocutor hangs up the phone. The same Muya (I already exclusively associate it with offensive things) also uses up a lot of memory at the same time. Because of this, even the menu on a phone with 2 GB of RAM might occasionally become painfully slow. Those. The application icons are loaded with a delay of two to three seconds, and even the list of applications that you are currently browsing through in the menu or settings (everything is closed, even Gul's numerous services were forcibly shut down by a professional) - how is it at all?!?! In the end, everything is the same: some issues can be resolved by downloading and installing third-party software, while others can be resolved by rooting the device. Additionally, buying things is generally not enjoyable but rather a constant source of annoyance. It's as if I bought what seemed to be a good wardrobe from Ikea, but they put some kind of garbage in it in place of instructions and standard fittings, and now you collect and collect (also only obscenities in your head) this wardrobe, but it's still crooked and oblique and holds on to everything -how. I will NEVER buy another phone from the Xiaomi brand again, and this is EXACTLY my last one.

Pros
  • Iron standards for spending this much money
Cons
  • Google is surpassed by Mui shell.
