Review on Beadaholique XTL 2150 Jewelry Hammer Head Metal by Carol Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far, so much better

The ball hammer I used to had had a short life. The head had broken off the wooden handle, leaving nothing but toothpicks. In comparison, the head of this beadsmith jewelry hammer appears to be more durable and better looking. Its curved base seems to hold the grip more securely. The hammer feels well balanced. I prefer to take wood glue or epoxy dripped onto the handle and dried there as a good sign. There's never too much glue, is there? So far, so good. A NOTICE. Delicate edges bend the hardened surface (see the picture in the listing), which is convenient for texturing. If you want a smooth round head, don't buy this hammer.

Pros
  • Handicrafts and sewing
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Great for use in making wire jewelry.
