First I just put it under the ring with the ring and it was perfect. I didn't even put on the tape that came with it. I don't see a need for it yet, but if it comes up I'll use it. There are good and bad sides to this product. First, let me say that this absolutely works for me. My ring size varies between 6 and 6.75 depending on the weather.
