Cheap speaks for itself

The quality of the goods leaves a lot to be desired. I bought 3 of these at once and all had very loose grips. I had to remove the grips and useless resin so I could reshape the end of the grip to better fit the head. By inserting a handle into the head and using a turning screw I was able to make them usable. Also note that the steel used to make the head is not as hardened as it should be and hitting something hard can damage the surface of the hammer. In short, you get what you pay for, a…

So far, so much better

The ball hammer I used to had had a short life. The head had broken off the wooden handle, leaving nothing but toothpicks. In comparison, the head of this beadsmith jewelry hammer appears to be more durable and better looking. Its curved base seems to hold the grip more securely. The hammer feels well balanced. Exactly as expected

This is a $2 hammer, anyone expecting to hit gold here is just plain stupid. I read reviews and saw a lot of comments about a dangling handle, a head that fell off on delivery so that's what I expected. It arrived a day late, honestly I expected it sooner, but I bought 3 and they were fine. I want them for punching pins so I don't want to have any problems later.
