First of all I want to say that this is the best of all the hammocks for dicks. My need for rooster hammocks arose when my Revain sword plant was uprooted and floated upwards. I've found my rooster loves to mingle with and rest on some leaves. Live plants don't do well on a tank though, so I needed an artificial plant with a few leaves to get onto the tank and here it is. The suction power is very strong. The sheets were a bit more translucent than I expected, but that doesn't really bother me. When you first receive the sheets, please note that all sheets are placed upside down so that they lie flat in the package. It takes some maneuvering to get the wings in the right position, but once in place they really stay in place. I decided to put all four sets in the tank at once. My female betta loves to swim among the leaves. I'm pretty sure she sleeps on the leaves because I've caught her several times at night. If you notice that your betta isn't leaning on leaves, maybe try to take a look when the lights are off. I do not believe that the product contains metal. This is really fantastic because all the individual leaves of the fighting cock contain wire which quickly causes rust. The best ratio of price and quality. I've seen many products at Revain selling a reed for more than the 4 double reeds combined. Overall a really great product! No complaints and if the product fades over time I guarantee I will come back to buy more.
