This girth is great, I have a plump mare and it fits perfectly. I put it on my saddle the day I got it. It doesn't slip at all, we rode in the rain and for a long time. My previous girth would start slipping if she sweated too much, I'm thankful it doesn't. Theatersia is pleasant to the touch and quite soft
