My kids were complaining that the upstairs bath/shower was not draining fast enough for a proper shower. I'd wanded it a few times without success. So, I stuck this down the drain (the tub's built in strainer had snapped off a while ago). and within a couple inches ran into a plastic wall, easily visible on my iPhone's screen. A bottle small enough to get through the drain but not small enough to get through the first joint had lodged itself leaving a narrow ring for water to flow or wands to get around. As it was close, I used a shop vac to pull the bottle back and the bath now drains as expected.This, was not making much use of the long spool which makes up this endoscope, but it's indicative of the value of having an inspection camera.Connecting it to my iPhone 7+ was pretty quick. It's Wi-fi so I picked the device's name from the phone's list of Wi-fi sources, and ran the recommended iPhone app. Worked OK, although the tip tended to become blurry. Didn't mind the flowing water. This is not going to get around tight turns, so I was lucky to find the problem early.
