Review on Charging JSAUX Braided Compatible Controller by Lawrence Reuter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They have lasted at least 6 months: LGV20

Update 13/06/18 I am pleased to report that after contacting the manufacturer regarding the product warranty they had promised - all via email - I responded quickly. Within 4 days I received new cables and replaced the 2 original cables I brought in January 2018 which were defective. As I mentioned, very durable material, no breaks or flashes on the cord itself, which alone explains why the cords aren't charging. I thought it would be difficult to contact the manufacturer but they turned out to be wrong. I love it. I highly recommend them. Not only because the cords are durable, but also because the companies pay a lot of attention to their customers. Fast response and answers to all your questions, and certainly a quick replacement of a faulty Corda 5 star product! So I went ahead and bought them in January 2018. Good. RIP to my 2 type C cables. They only lasted 6 months. The first cable broke after 2 months. To top it off - the worst time for me to die was in March when I was on vacation with my family in Canada. But fear and anger disappeared as there were 2 cables in my package and I took the second one with me on a trip. The second cable came to my rescue but has now given up on me. I haven't contacted the manufacturer yet to inquire about the warranty, so I can't say what the after-sales service might be like. Now I'm looking for a reliable cable again. PS The cable is strong, no breaks or breaks that explain the failed performance, hence 5 stars for the durability of its construction, however they are no longer calculated. With a term of 6 months - longer than others - 2 stars. Perhaps by not charging you will solve this problem and they could easily become a 5 star product. The photo I've attached shows they're still going strong after 6 months, just not charging.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
