Better than globes best in my review

I used globes for my plants before and they did well most times. However, it couldn't control the speed of water and sometimes my plant died. This plant watering device seems to be a new version. So I bought one to built a self watering stystem for my little garden, as I had to leave home for almost one week. This little spikes surprised me a lot. It arrived in excellent condition and worked as advertised. Simple design but did great job and it can actually control the watering speed for different plants! Now I won't need to worry about my plants when I am off. Highly recommend it.

May not be practical for use with larger or more extensive gardens
