Very easy to use. I can't comment on the battery life as I won't use it often. It may be months before I use it long enough to test life. I can keep charging it between uses. 4 brightness is very different. Although it may not be dark enough. But I want it as a light to see the buttons on the panel in the dark, not for reading. The clip is big enough. It slides up and down on the flexible part, making it very easy to adjust. My only concern is durability. This cannot last very long. But at the moment it works very well.
