Review on Guidecraft Jr. Rainbow Blocks: 40 Piece Set - Kids Learning & Educational Toys, Stacking Blocks by Colleen Wilson

I bought these blocks for my 18month old daughter as I thought it would be a great toy to stimulate open-ended, imaginative play. I was super excited when they arrived, but I have to say I was disappointed after opening the box. I guess I should have read the description more carefully, because they were super small blocks. It's a 20 piece set, so that should have been an indication to me that they wouldn't be full sized blocks. I looked at the pictures and it made it seem as if they were full sized. We returned the blocks and ended up buying an 8-piece set from a different brand. Good quality, but just not big enough for what I wanted them for.
