Works perfectly. A little petty.

I love how this HUD works! I find all the features work great. The GPS will connect within minutes and start tracking your speed. I checked the speed on my speedometer and phone and it was up. One thing to note about GPS is that it takes a few minutes for a signal to be received and for distance measurement to begin. However, the driving time starts counting as soon as the device is switched on. It simply means that the difference between driving time and driving distance is 2-3 minutes. I guess it doesn't matter over long distances but over short distances it could be a problem. Almost every display can be customized. You can choose what data you want to display and in the settings menu you can choose the three colors you want to show in the data screens. The only thing I couldn't fully customize is the screen which is divided into 6 parts. I can customize the top row but not the bottom two. The time on mine is set automatically and all I had to do was add a 1 hour offset for Daylight Saving Time. The voltage is correct and the altitude matches what my Garmin GPS reads. My favorite feature is that even if the device is plugged into an always-on outlet, can detect a drop in voltage (from the alternator to the battery) and switch off automatically. You can set how long to wait before this happens. One thing I don't understand is why it comes preloaded with an additional offset for speed at 107% and an additional offset of 3mph. I found I didn't need it as it tracks well when set to 100%. This and all other parameters are controlled by pressing or sliding the control switch on the rear panel. There's also a small photocell on the back, which I think is used to control the auto-dimming feature, but to be honest I can't say I noticed it dimming or brightening in different lighting conditions. The only downside is that the display itself is quite small. I don't know if this is just my dashboard or if others will be the same, but if I place it next to the windshield in the best position for my field of vision, it's actually very small, unless I'm only using the first one . a screen that only has speed in very large letters. Overall I really like it and will keep playing with different placements until I feel perfect. once this is done, which only has speed in very large letters.
