The watch is darker than in the photo. I put a battery in it and hung it on the wall, it worked for a few days and then it stopped. I'm disappointed because now I have to return it and look for another one. UPDATE: I decided to replace the broken watch with the same model, it seemed easier as the watch was exactly what I wanted except for the color I grew. I got my replacement, then put in the original battery that was used in the first watch and I had the same problem. The time change didn't work. New battery installed, the clock worked. Then I put a new battery in the original clock and it worked. THE PROBLEM WAS THE BATTERY, NOT THE WATCH. Apologies to the manufacturer. I increased the overall star rating from one to four (the color isn't quite right).
