Aesthetically pleasing but missing some key features
I confess I bought it for the looks and it even looks great on the stand. It's great for boiling water, but lacks a few key features that make it less than perfect: - No audible sounds when the water reaches temperature. The only sign that the water is boiling is when the water stops boiling and the power button flashes. If you leave the kettle on the base, the power light will continue to flash and the temperature light will stay on. Not good if you have a studio or this thing is in the bedroom. The blinking can also be annoying, which is why I don't put it on a stand when storing. Otherwise, for the price and looks, this is a great kettle.
- Fast heat up and keep warm At 1000W the kettle boils in just 3-5 minutes. It won't take any longer. The keep-warm function for an additional 60 minutes helps to prevent the water from boiling again.
