I tried it out with some decent optics, and the results were impressive, but it's not cheap to unlock the camera's full potential. It's a fantastic camera for the price. Advantages that vary: High-quality construction, sharp images, and accurate color reproduction. A decent matrix with an iso 800 working range; if you don't print 40 by 40, you'll get pulled up to 1600. The downsides: Lightweight, it needs to be heavier; at the maximum end of a long focus, it smears; at a zoom of 18-270, more than 180 mm, it's difficult to shoot correctly with one hand if the shutter speed is less than 1/300; compared to the Sonya 35, autofocus is a little slow.
