I love that feeling. when they are new. I bought mine in May 2019 and the threads on the decorative strap around the top of the slipper started unraveling right from the start. This is my third pair and same old story. It's getting worse. It's only April, there is no year and: 1) The back of the sneaker is completely gone (on both slippers). They fell apart about 5 months after wearing them. 2) The cork sole of the left slipper is completely split on the side at the toe at the 7 month mark - a nice 4 inch giant patchwork tear; Now it just collects garbage. 3) Cork sole on the right slipper also tears Haflinger - I had that too.
