Great for scrapbooking!

I bought this printer in December 2009 and I love it! I use it for scrapbooking and print the photos I need to print. I researched portable printers for months before purchasing this one. I wish I could print 5x7 or 4x6, not just 4x6. It's hard to find one that can do both, small and easy to use. I chose Canon because I really like my home printer and I wanted to stick with a name I trust. I mainly use it when I crop too much of a photo or forget a photo at home. I use an old CF card to transfer my photos for cropping. I have an old 8GB SanDisk Ultra II which is perfect for this purpose. I have around 300 photos on my card and I'm sure I could add more if needed. I edit all my photos before putting them on the card so I know it's how I want it. I don't expect my printer to process photos for me. I love that I can print photos smaller than 4x6 to use as stickers! It was a pleasant surprise. I changed the cartridge after printing about 100 photos with the cartridge that came with it. Saving your photos as .jpg or .gif will print more of them than other formats without using a lot of ink. I like the quality of the prints, they dry quite quickly, I move them to another spot on the table after printing so they don't smudge. I really wish there was a photo trap on the tray, but you can't have everything. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to create scrapbooks or print family photos at meetings or get togethers.
