Great quality prints!

I bought one and I liked it so much that I bought it for my mother. Photos are printed very clearly, colors are accurate. I printed the same image on several different friends' printers and this one turned out to be the most accurate for the actual colors. I can't see any quality difference between these prints and what I would get from a professional developer. The printer uses borderless paper, no cutting or tearing of the perforated edges, borderless printing. Very easy to crop and edit…

Amazing printer at an amazing price

I got tired of fighting with my husband over ink on our multifunction printer he uses for work (God forbid I use up all that yellowing!) and wanted a small specialized photo printer I didn't see all the small artefacts that a less specialized printer seemed to leave behind. This printer is just fantastic. The print quality is above what I expected for this price and I have already recommended it to several people. If you can afford a dye sublimation printer by all means do it, it will be on my…

Great for scrapbooking!

I bought this printer in December 2009 and I love it! I use it for scrapbooking and print the photos I need to print. I researched portable printers for months before purchasing this one. I wish I could print 5x7 or 4x6, not just 4x6. It's hard to find one that can do both, small and easy to use. I chose Canon because I really like my home printer and I wanted to stick with a name I trust. I mainly use it when I crop too much of a photo or forget a photo at home. I use an old CF card to…

Printer Printer and supplies

I got this printer as a reward for myself as I am a scrapbooker. So far I've printed a lot of photos and they came out too red. I corrected the settings like brightness etc and they still come out too red. I'm not entirely happy with the flowers. Outdoor shots are great, but indoor shots are a bit too dark. I would be very happy if someone could help me with this problem. Update 01/26/2011: I switched to Canon paper from Kodak and they are much better. Now I love my printer.

Small printer that can

Very good small printer, easy to carry and put anywhere. However, there must be a way to edit photos that are downloaded and printed directly from a memory card. After filming the fashion show, even though I had my printer with me, I had to take the card home and upload it to my home printer for editing before printing. The first photos of the models were too dark when uploaded and printed on the site. I also have to use my home printer when I need 8X10. Not a big deal, I mostly print 4x6 and…

Incredibly happy! in inkjet printers

Can I give it 6 stars? I couldn't be happier with this printer. I received it last night and have already printed about 40 photos. I recently bought a new Canon camera (Canon PowerShot S5-IS) and the quality of the images it takes and the images this printer prints would give the impression that they were professionally shot. The print quality is amazing. The printer has a built-in automatic photo correction feature that allows you to print better images. It prints calendars, collages, framed…

  • Best in class
Cons

Very satisfied Good for printer and supplies

I am very satisfied with the quality of the prints this little printer produces. I also have a Canon MP560 (multifunction) and the quality is about the same if not as good. I set it up without connecting to a PC and it was easy. The only thing that bothers me is the packaging. The plastic is thin and cheap. You'd think they'd build it to withstand even a little abuse because it's a 'portable' printer.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Null

Medium quality photo printer

This printer is easy to set up and use. It's pretty good value for money (i.e. not very expensive). The main reason I only give 3 stars is that the color of the photos is a bit darker and blurry compared to the image on the computer screen. This also compares to my old Epson printer replacing this one. Epson was a pain and I would not praise it nor buy another device from this brand. However, the quality and clarity of the photos were excellent. I would also rank the Canon Pixma on the _slow_…

WOW, what photos! - office electronics

I can't even go into details about this printer other than to say WOW! We used this with our Canon 8 megapixel digital camera, inserted a memory card into the printer and used Canon PRO paper. The result is razor-sharp, true-to-life photolab-quality prints that will amaze you. We printed all of our Christmas photos and our guests loved the quality. The printer has many built-in features, including red-eye reduction, which worked brilliantly (even though our Canon camera's red-eye reduction…
