I bought this light for my truck to act as a signal light when doing roadside work. On the positive side, that the extension cable is long enough for my purposes and the switching system is intuitive. The brackets had to be used in an unconventional way, but it was manageable. Unfortunately, this light does not match in several aspects: The light is only really bright when viewed from the front (lateral Poor visibility at best) even at night. Spring too stiff. The spring is so stiff that it doesn't compress the connection enough to make a good connection. I've already noticed that this lamp breaks regularly during use due to a bad contact at the back of the cigarette lighter socket (yes, I have at least 3 separate ports au tried it and can definitely put it down to a spring almost too hard to squeeze with a finger).
