Very reliable dehumidifier

Simple and effective! We use this dryer (in our refurbishment shop) along with many others from Alorair and love them. They work well, the quality is good and they are surprisingly quiet. Its compact size and light weight make it ideal for tight spaces, yet powerful like a larger device.

I am satisfied: heating, cooling and air quality

I set it up, switched it on and it worked. The humidity in the basement is below 40 degrees today. During installation, water drops accumulated on the head duct and the insulation of the branch duct got wet in some places. Puddles formed on the plastic floor in the basement. Initially, the humidity was in the range of 80 percent relative humidity. I'm happy.

To do this check, we waited until all the water had cleared our scanning area. This car took two months and did a great job. We had a lot of water and this guy pumped out 10 gallons in 24 hours. We are very happy with how well it worked. It worked day and night for 2 months straight and never had a problem with it. Don't hesitate, just buy it with confidence.

Excellent customer service

Bought an AlorAir Sentinel HD55 to keep the humidity down in my basement. I've been using the unit for a full week and have noticed that the humidity in my basement isn't going down and my HD55 isn't draining. I emailed customer service because I was concerned that my unit might not be working properly and for possible troubleshooting tips I could follow to get my dehumidifier working. They responded with an email that a new device was on the way. Definitely one of the best customer experiences

Still satisfied after almost two years and no real problems

I installed it underground (approx. 1400 m²) at 99% humidity and 76 degrees on Friday evening. On Monday morning the moisture meter I installed read 55% at 77 degrees. The block itself said 60%. The thing drove and the drain kept flowing, so for now I'm happy. Let's see how it goes in the long run. The dehumidifier has failed for the second time. Don't waste your time!

Inquired about basement dehumidifiers and purchased an Alorair Sentinel HD 55. It arrived and was installed. In less than a year, even with a perfectly clean filter, it just freezes and doesn't go into a defrost cycle. I emailed Alorair and they said I had to ship it to LA for repair and pay for shipping myself. What good is a 5-year warranty if I have to pay more than $250 in shipping? Lasted a year. Best heating, cooling and air quality

I bought this after much research. It arrived and was working great until 13 months later. Even with regular filter changes, it began to freeze. I've contacted support and I have 2 weeks before the warranty expires - they include shipping for a year and then the buyer pays shipping for all warranty work. Finally a good dehumidifier!

I use an Alorair Sentinel HD55 non-ducted dehumidifier in my finished basement. The device is solidly built, efficient, efficient and relatively quiet. At 48% relative humidity it works reliably with a 6-point hysteresis, switching on at 51% and off at 45%.
