I installed it underground (approx. 1400 mΒ²) at 99% humidity and 76 degrees on Friday evening. On Monday morning the moisture meter I installed read 55% at 77 degrees. The block itself said 60%. The thing drove and the drain kept flowing, so for now I'm happy. Let's see how it goes in the long run. The odor and the miserable damp mostly disappeared underground in a weekend. *UPDATE* Still working after almost two years. When the power is cycled, the dehumidifier simply picks up where it left off. I only had it once when it started and I had to go down and dispose of it. If you don't have a remote I would recommend a remote humidity sensor to keep an eye on the humidity percentage. Otherwise I am very happy with this dehumidifier and it was a good investment.
